Picture summer camp (but with academics)

At Paul Smith’s College, students from all walks of life find a place where they can truly be themselves—while also branching out. The extracurriculars and support services are vast. The housing is cozy. The food is top-notch. And the camaraderie? Everywhere you look. Our community is the Adirondacks personified: inviting, fascinating, and alive with possibility.

As one student put it, “This place is good for my mental health.”

Make yourself at home

Smitties bond over bonfires and Beekeeping Club, Open Mic Nights, and quirky traditions. They win championships in canoe racing, international snowshoeing, alpine skiing, golf, and more. We respect one another, as well as the ground we walk on. Whenever you get to meet a current Smitty, ask about the sunsets—chances are, they have a camera roll full of their magnificent residence hall views.
